You have no idea what you're talking about. Look at PC gaming. Games scale on PC, just like you're suggesting they will across X1-XsX. The thing you're missing is something called minimum system requirements. Past a certain point software cannot mitigate things. Look at some big 3rd party games from 2019. Interesting. I'm assuming Sony is reading the tea leaves like EA and is just abandoning the dying E3. With skipping PSX and E3 they have now positioned themselves to have a yearly PSX starting next year. An event that would essentially be their E3 and PSX consolidated and would potentially draw all attention on the PS brand for 1 week/weekend a year.

New studios sure, but what about existing ones? Halo Infinite is a wash since it was announced as an X1 game. But what about Forza 8 for instance. That game is going to look beautiful on XsX I'm sure, but the physics and AI will still be held up by a 1.3tf machine. Same with Fable 4, Gears 6, etc.
